What we collect and why
Contact form. When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, company, area of interest, your message, and the time you gave consent. We use this information to understand your request, reply to you and discuss potential work. The legal basis is your consent and the steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement.
Security. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the submission comes from a person. Submissions are rate-limited using a hashed, short-lived record of your IP address. The IP address is not stored with your enquiry.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. On this website, cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. They are set by Google Ads, a service of Google Ireland Limited, and are used for:
- Conversion measurement: recording whether a visit leads to an enquiry through the contact form.
- Remarketing: allowing Google to show you personalised ads on Google and partner websites, based on your visit to this website.
The cookies are:
_gcl_au: identifies the browser for conversion measurement. Expires after 90 days._gcl_aw: stores the identifier of the Google Ads click that brought you to the website, if any. Expires after 90 days.- Cookies that Google sets on its own domains, such as doubleclick.net, under Google's cookie policy.
If you accept cookies and then send an enquiry, your email address is also sent to Google, hashed with SHA-256 in your browser. This lets Google match the enquiry to an ad click without receiving the address itself.
The legal basis for these cookies is your consent. If you reject them, they are not set and the Google Ads tag is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any time in , and withdrawing consent deletes the Google Ads cookies from this website. You can also manage ad personalisation across Google at My Ad Center.
Who receives your data
- Cloudflare hosts the website and the contact form, and stores enquiries on our behalf.
- Google Ireland Limited receives the data described under Cookies, only if you accept cookies, and processes it under its privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
Location of data and transfers
Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database located in the European Union and are accessible only to authorised Metis Labs personnel. Google may transfer data to the United States, relying on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Data retention
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last communication, unless they relate to an active engagement, a legal obligation, or the establishment or defence of legal claims. Cookie lifetimes are listed under Cookies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw your consent at any time, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Greece, this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr). To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
